Didsbury Branding Photographer // The Power of Great Branding Images.

Didsbury Branding Photographer’s words on the power of great branding images - and what to expect from a shoot with this Didsbury-based photographer.

As well as family photography, I also specialise in small business branding photography. I love to meet fellow small business owners in and around Didsbury - and capture images that truly reflect them and their business.

Why do you need branding images?

When you land on a social media page or a website, how quickly do you make a decision about whether that business is for you? Pretty quickly, right? A HUGE part of this is the imagery chosen to portray the business and what it is all about. If you’ve got badly lit, cheap-looking images, this tends to say the same about your business. If you see beautiful images that tell a story - about the person / people behind the business and about the products / services they provide - this is so much more enticing.

I personally tend to click off any page that feels thrown together. Whereas a beautifully curated social page or website will draw me in and make me want to know more about what the business is offering.

Professional images make all the difference. Especially when they are ones that don’t look awkward and static, but instead reflect you and your business authentically.

Why choose Didsbury branding photographer, Laura at Copper + Olive Photo?

The brief answer is because I will get images that will have you saying “yes, that’s me!”. Images that look like you and portray your business ethos. They won’t be awkward, stuffy photos that just look like you’ve been photoshopped into a generic stock image (words I’ve heard clients say about their previous shoot before coming to me for fresh images). They’ll show you and your products / services as you want people to see them!

When I discovered branding photography, it was a lightbulb moment. I get to know people and their businesses - what drives them, their Why, what led them to where they are today, where they see themselves going. I love chatting all things business, and I love meeting and photographing people - so this is a match made in heaven!

I work with small business owners in Didsbury and Manchester for their branding photos - and I’m always happy to travel across the North West and beyond for shoots.

What is the process for a branding shoot?

Once you’ve pencilled in your shoot in my online diary, we’ll make things official by ticking off the formalities - the shoot fee and the contract.

Next up, I’ll send you a questionnaire to get to know you and your business better. I’ll ask a variety of questions which will help me plan your shoot and guide me through it to get the images that you want and need. There is also the option to have a zoom chat (included in the price) to chat through everything, how it works etc. And I am on hand to answer any questions you have leading up to the shoot including any location choices, outfits, image inspo etc - you can whatsapp me as much as you like to chat about this!

One week before the shoot, the package price is due - then you’re all paid up and ready to go!

On the day, we’ll meet at the location (or the first location of several depending on what package you’ve chosen and what you’ve decided) and we’ll go from there! We’ll keep things very relaxed to get the best images for you!

Within two weeks of the shoot, you’ll get your gallery of images. They’ll all be available to download in both high res for any printing and in web sized for sharing on socials.

What kind of images do you get from a branding shoot?

As I mentioned above, we’ll have a chat in advance about what it is you’re looking for from your images. Some people will be planning a website overhaul and will want a variety of landscape images to make a big impact on their fresh new site. Others may want plenty of content to share on their socials to promote their brand. Some may want a total mix! Whatever it is that you need for your brand, we’ll make sure we get this for you!
