Manchester Family Photographer’s thoughts on booking a mini shoot.

Mini shoots are designed to be a teeny taster of my full family shoots. They are a great, affordable way to get some great update of your family photos.

What are mini shoots?

Mini shoots are 20 minutes long, at a specified single location, on one date and include a small number of images - in my case, 5. They are booked usually back to back on that day. They are super affordable as I am able to book many mini shoots in one place on one day, and they are much shorter in duration. Mini sessions cannot be booked as in individual offering - as a one off, unfortunately they would never be viable. So if you’d like to choose your own location and date and have a more bespoke experience, then full shoots are the way to go!

What happens at a mini shoot?

We’ve got 20 minutes of fun! And I’ll be there to capture it.

As we have a short amount of time, we’ll get started with taking photos straight away! Don’t worry, we’ll still have a little chat, get on board with the littlies and keep things relaxed. There may be a little more direction and “natural nudges” from me than in a usual family shoot to that we can get the shots in the time.

We will get some photos with the whole family together, and capture the individual relationships if there are a few of you. We’ll keep things light and fun, make some memories and capture some precious images.

You don’t need to worry about the little ones behaving for very long as we can usually get through 20 minutes of photos fine - especially with some snacks!

Before you know it the session will be over and you’ll be heading off on your next little everyday adventure.

What’s next?

Within 14 days, you’ll get a little email landing in your inbox - your gallery! You’ll have around 25 images in the collection to choose from. In your shoot fee, you’ll have 5 images included - so just select your favourite 5! If you’ve love more and just can’t choose, then you can buy more images if you’d like to!
